Jordyn Ramos (she/her) earned her BA in Sociology and Psychology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is currently a second-year MSW candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Social Welfare. As a Child Welfare Scholar and Title IV-E recipient, Jordyn is completing her internship at the Alameda County Social Services Agency, within the Department of Children and Family Services. Prior to starting her graduate program, she worked as a Service Coordinator at the San Diego Regional Center, providing case management and coordination to individuals with developmental disabilities, and as a Rehabilitation Specialist at Family Care Network, providing Intensive Home-Based Services (IHBS) to youth involved in the foster care system. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, film photography, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.
Jordyn aims to provide services that are person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based. She is passionate about mental health, advocacy, and social justice.
