If our firm is retained upon arrest or during an active investigation, we immediately focus on trying to get any potential charges dropped. George immediately gets in touch with the investigating agency and/or assigned prosecutor to present your defense and mitigation. Contrary to popular myth, “victims” don’t have the right to press or drop charges. Once a report is initiated, it’s entirely within the discretion of the City Attorney or District Attorney to file charges against a suspect. George is intimately familiar with this procedure, knows the San Diego prosecutors, and proactively works at preventing cases from being filed.
